About The Position
United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking a Surgery Center Administrator for Arizona Digestive Institute in Tucson, AZ. Arizona Digestive Institute is a facility with 4 treatment rooms specializing in Gastroenterology, where physicians have an ownership or investment interest. This role offers the opportunity to lead day-to-day operations of an ambulatory surgery center, working closely with physicians, staff, and governing boards. The Administrator will support clinical quality, operational efficiency, and a positive experience for patients and employees. This position is ideal for leaders who value accountability, collaboration, and hands-on operational leadership.
Requirements
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership experience with ASC exposure
Responsibilities
- Lead daily facility operations, including administrative, clinical support, and business functions
- Serve as liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and USPI Home Office
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards
- Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets
- Monitor financial performance and address operational risks
- Oversee staffing, employee performance management, and workforce planning
- Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination
- Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts
- Support quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives
- Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting
- Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement
