About The Position

This assignment requires a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Tech with a wide range of experience in ortho, neuro, vascular, etc. Candidates lacking a full breadth of current experience will not be considered. The Surgical Tech will work 36-40 hours/week, with a requirement of approximately every 2nd or 3rd weekend as a call weekend and 1-2 calls per week. All call requires a 30-minute response time. Possible holiday call rotation may be required if the holiday falls within the contract. The Surgical Tech may be required to float to General OR and/or the Outpatient Surgery Center in times of low census/high demand.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• BLS required.
• Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.

Nice To Haves

• CST preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Vascular OR procedures and assist in ortho, neuro, vascular activities.
• Maintain readiness for call duties with a 30-minute response time.
• Adjust to varying call volumes and potential holiday rotations based on departmental needs.
