Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. What You Will Do: Process super alloy powder within the confines of an environmentally controlled, isolated area. Screen & blend powder metals Ensure work is accurate Adhere to quality procedures May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment Perform basic mathematical calculations Communicate with co-workers Must follow directions precisely Ability to push, pull, and lift within specified weight restrictions Physically capable of wearing a tight-fitting half mask respirator Ability to operate basic hand tools Must follow written work instructions The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 10:00pm - 8:00am (8th shift).
Requirements
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)
- Must have a good attendance record
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to work from heights – up to 60’
- Must be able to wear a respirator
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude
- The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
