About The Position

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Special Processes Operator – Plating/Plasma for the 1st shift operations (Mon-Fri, 6:30AM to 3:00PM). This site currently employs 250+ employees in total.
Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine requirements.
Prepare parts for coating operations.
Set up and operate grit blaster.
Set up and operate nickel plating and/or plasma equipment.
Nickel plate / plasma coat to specifications outlined in work instructions.
Inspect parts to verify conformance with specifications.
Complete required paperwork.
Maintain clean work environment
Technical aptitude and desire to learn new skills is essential to this role.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
Training is provided on-site.

Requirements

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience within the aerospace industry.
• Prior experience with specialized coating application or plating.
• Fanuc robotic controls experience.
