The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Special Processes Operator – Plating/Plasma for the 1st shift operations (Mon-Fri, 6:30AM to 3:00PM). This site currently employs 250+ employees in total. Technical aptitude and desire to learn new skills is essential to this role. Ability to read and interpret work instructions. Training is provided on-site.

Requirements

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience within the aerospace industry.
• Prior experience with specialized coating application or plating.
• Fanuc robotic controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine requirements.
• Prepare parts for coating operations.
• Set up and operate grit blaster.
• Set up and operate nickel plating and/or plasma equipment.
• Nickel plate / plasma coat to specifications outlined in work instructions.
• Inspect parts to verify conformance with specifications.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Maintain clean work environment
