Surface Production Operator
About The Position
Reporting to the Surface Production Supervisor, the Operator applies expertise to meet the production schedule, by controlling and monitoring mill equipment. In this role, you will apply technical skills to solve problems and deliver for the customer. In this role, you will: Provide on-site operation of the mill processing equipment to optimise Potash operations. Follow direction and guidance from the mill shift supervisor and IOC mill controller. Perform all tasks maintaining a strong safety attitude. Identify actual or potential maintenance/operational problems and take appropriate action. Respond to emergency situations using standards defined for potash operation. Conduct a detailed handover with the incoming mill operator to ensure that all process and plant conditions are known and understood.
Requirements
- Previous processing plant/mill experience.
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED Equivalency.
