About The Position

Responsible for the safety, quality, delivery, and performance of his/her assigned department. In this role, the Surface Equipment Supervisor will guide, direct and/or coordinate all activities in the production area and will work to support all operational and organizational strategies and initiatives. To provide routine maintenance and field support for Scout’s products. Providing product operating instructions, training, and best practices to all Scout team members. Conducting and documenting routine maintenance and inspections.

Requirements

  • Previous field experience in a related oil & gas or equipment service role required.
  • General knowledge of frac operations preferred.
  • Experience with electrical or hydraulic systems strongly preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • High school or GED required.
  • Strong technical problem-solving abilities and mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • Clean driving record with no major moving violations or DUI/DWI convictions within the past 60 months.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates initiative, dependability, credibility, and professional work habits.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and maintains a positive, action-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Provide field and shop support for Scout products and services.
  • Assist with equipment mobilization, installation, operation, troubleshooting, repairs, and demobilization.
  • Perform hands-on equipment repairs both in the field and in the shop.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Complete service tickets accurately and on time.
  • Report quality issues and customer feedback promptly.
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory at Scout facilities and customer job boxes.
  • Perform rebuilding and recertification of PRVs, BOVs, DCUs and SGVs.
  • Document maintenance activities and inventory usage via Scout's asset tracking software.
  • Conduct painting, pressure washing, and pressure testing as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including shop areas and company vehicles.
  • Participate in required training (HSE, operational, and customer-mandated).
  • Complete all administrative tasks and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Support Scout field and shop operations as needed.
  • Other duties and tasks as needed.
