About The Position

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The RF Microelectronics, Module Design, and Foundry Services Department (RFMicro) develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications. There is an exciting opportunity in the department for a Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Process Integration Engineer to join the crystal fabrication team supporting the product and process integration of the Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) product line. As a member of the RFM Department, the individual in this role will be responsible for the performance and yield of the SAW product line, combining product-level data analysis, failure investigation, and cross-functional team engagement to ensure that all devices meet program performance, yield, and reliability requirements. The engineer will work across multiple functions, including quality, operations, engineering, and foundry customers to ensure that all customer requirements are met. Presence on the manufacturing floor is required for quick resolution of issues and quick reaction time to prevent interruption to customer commitments. The ideal candidate for this role would have an excellent understanding of SAW device physics, experience in acoustic device fabrication and test, excellent data analysis and root cause corrective action (RCCA) skills, an excellent communicator, and possess a drive to learn and improve the areas where they work. The ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail, maintain organized, and work well in small cross-functional teams is essential to success. This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Andover, MA.
