About The Position

The Surety Account Manager will be responsible for processing documents necessary to maintain the Client Surety Program, utilizing the agency management system. This role involves generating invoices, preparing bonds and related documents as required by clients, obtaining bid results, and assisting Account Executives with various documentation needs. The position also requires coordinating document delivery to clients and attending in-house and occasional client meetings. The Surety Account Manager will function as a team member, ensuring superior service to all Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) Clients by performing assigned tasks, treating clients and colleagues with courtesy and respect, and contributing to team goals through cooperation and effective communication. Problem-solving, confidentiality, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tactfulness are essential for servicing clients effectively. The role also involves providing guidance and quality checks for others' work and performing other duties as requested by the Service Team. Additionally, the Surety Account Manager will demonstrate technical expertise to assist in maintaining the Client Surety Program, verifying the accuracy of bonds and invoices, comprehending bond requirements, and communicating with surety companies and clients as needed.

Requirements

  • College Degree, preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and possess basic word processing and spreadsheet computer skills.
  • Operational knowledge of various Windows-based application programs such as Excel and Word.
  • Willing to work overtime due to cyclical nature of business.

Responsibilities

  • Process documents necessary to maintain the Client Surety Program, utilizing agency management system.
  • Generate invoices.
  • Prepare bonds as required by clients.
  • Prepare related documents as required by clients.
  • Obtain bid results.
  • Assist Account Executives with various documents.
  • Coordinate delivery of documents to clients.
  • Attend in-house meetings and occasional client meetings.
  • Perform tasks assigned.
  • Treat clients, prospects, and company employees with courtesy and respect.
  • Contribute to a team approach toward meeting goals and providing excellent client service.
  • Demonstrate cooperation and effective communication with clients, vendors and co-workers.
  • Service clients effectively through problem solving, confidentiality, diplomacy, sensitivity and tactfulness.
  • Perform other duties as requested by members of Service Team.
  • Provides guidance / quality check for other’s work.
  • Verify accuracy of bonds and invoices as necessary.
  • Comprehend bond requirements.
