About The Position

Supervises employees who test and/or inspect products to determine compliance with specifications. Responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs).

Requirements

Apprentice graduate, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 4 years of applicable technical experience.
Related Apprentice certification (X11 Shipfitting or related trade) & (i.e. NDT, Dimensional Control) & 0 Years.
Master’s degree and 2 years relevant experience.
4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
8 years related non-exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree and experience.

Nice To Haves

The candidate should be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Confidential Clearance.
It is preferable the candidate has an X11 background.
A candidate should have a thorough understanding of construction, manufacturing processes and operation of New Construction VCS & Columbia work practices.
Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and interpret procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication.
