FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Business Hours Position Summary The Supervisor of Pathology Services is responsible for maintaining the integrity and the smooth daily operations of the Pathology Laboratory and for the direct supervision of personnel. The incumbent supervises Histology and Cytology Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, and/or Pathology Assistants; ensures the department meets current regulatory requirements; assists in planning department goals, objectives and policies and performs clinical testing on specimens as ordered by the physician. This job requires the ability to travel to various locations within the Puget Sound.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree
HT (ASCP) certification
Five (5) years as a Histology and /or Cytology technologist, preferably in a large outpatient or reference laboratory setting using network-based LIS and HIS systems and PC based software
Three (3) years general lab experience in a progressively responsible leadership position

Nice To Haves

MBA or equivalent advanced business degree preferred
