About The Position

This position provides clinical site leadership for the rehabilitation department. The supervisor is responsible for personnel management and employee engagement for the clinical staff within their assigned area. Key duties include overseeing and improving site operations, managing supply and expenses, and ensuring productivity aligns with the budget. The role also involves working towards annual departmental goals and maintaining accreditation readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and hospitality skills (written, verbal and non-verbal)
• Excellent follow through and completion of tasks
• Knowledge of PT/OT/SLP practice, procedures and equipment
• Knowledge of hospital and rehabilitation regulatory and legal issues
• Basic understanding of rehabilitative documentation, coding and billing
• Sound decision making and critical thinking skills. Able to function independently.
• Current Florida license for one of the following: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology
• BLS from American Heart Association
• Three years experience as a clinician, with evidence of increased leadership responsibility

Nice To Haves

• Master's or Doctorate preferred with focus in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, communication science disorders or business administration
• Experience in hospital based rehabilitation preferred
