Requirements

Central Supply Certified preferred.
Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Central Sterile Technician in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
Knowledge of decontamination’s and sterilization techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

Responsible for directing the overall service functions of the Central Supply Department.
Must be able to move throughout the facility.
Must understand written data and be able to write alpha and numeric data accurately.
Responsible for the procurement of supplies, stock and non-stock, compliance while controlling inventory levels and accuracy with the system.
Must be able to direct department, including assessing priorities and directing and scheduling staff.
Able to communicate with pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle adult to geriatrics.
