About The Position

Serve as a Second in Command (SIC) providing right-seat support for clients attending FAA‑approved 14 CFR 142 training programs at CAE facilities. Support training for Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 simulator programs, including FAA Part 135 and Part 91 operations, EASA, and other National Aviation Authorities (NAAs). Deliver simulator seat support to clients with varied experience levels and training objectives. Maintain proficiency as a qualified crew member, even without holding an aircraft type rating. Provide seat support for simulator evaluation events conducted by CAE or governing aviation authorities. Contribute to a high-quality, customer-focused training environment emphasizing Crew Resource Management (CRM). Commit to scheduled training sessions and on-call assignments based on availability.

Requirements

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
  • Airplane Multi-Engine Land (MEL) rating.
  • Instrument Rating (Airplane Multi-Engine Land) with: Minimum 50 hours of multi-engine time, and Minimum 50 hours of instrument experience.
  • Minimum 400 hours total flight time.
  • Ability to commit up to 10–15 workdays per month.
  • Ability to complete up to 11-hour workdays, typically not exceeding 6 hours in the simulator.
  • Availability to work any day of the week, at any time of day, based on scheduling needs.
  • Ability to commit a minimum of 35 simulator events within a rolling 12‑month period.
  • Ability to commit up to 3 or more weeks for initial training.
  • Must meet all TSA requirements.
  • Must live within the Las Vegas, Nevada area.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (E‑Verify participation required).
