Purpose:
To provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug screenings
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or associate’s degree with 2 years’ experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities or High School diploma or GED and 4 years’ experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Assists the individual in finding and maintaining housing according to their person directed plan and financial profile
• Provides assistance and training in daily living skills, personal finance, safety, social skills and self-advocacy to encourage independence
• Provides services and documentation according to regulatory requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned
