About The Position

As a Permanency Support Worker, you will support staff in the Permanency Services Program and promote the well-being of children in the program. The role includes participating in staff meetings and trainings and coordinating with staff from other agencies involved in providing Permanency Services. The average hourly rate is $16.63, including wages, incentives, bonuses, overtime, and shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Complete a Predictive Index assessment; the assessment takes 5–7 minutes and has no right or wrong answers.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to Permanency Program staff and help ensure case plan requirements are met.
• Collaborate with public and private agencies involved in providing Permanency Services.
• Assist with basic services that meet the developmental needs of children and families.
• Supervise visitations, support reunification efforts, and provide emotional support, counseling, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Educate families about Permanency Program processes and act as a liaison between families and program staff.
• Support placements by obtaining required documents and preparing case files for audits.
• Transport children and conduct agency business while adhering to driving requirements.
• Coordinate service delivery with agency program staff and provide documentation and reports with evaluative content.
• Promote cultural sensitivity, teamwork, and effective communication in daily activities.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
