About The Position

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK's largest health and social care charities, founded in 1988. They transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment. They were pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives. Today, they support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 colleagues across England and Scotland. They have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships. This role involves supporting 17 individuals at a service in Elgin, which includes a 12-bedsit and a 3-bedroom bungalow. The individuals require various levels of support with learning disabilities, mental health, and physical disabilities. The focus is on achieving individualized goals, working together to overcome barriers, and ensuring people are living their best lives. The individuals have experience with challenges related to anxieties, past traumas, and behaviors, and require support workers who are confident in these areas and can build trust to help them feel safe and secure. The service operates with several support workers on shift each day and two waking night staff (10 pm to 7 am), with floating staff between 7:30 am and 10 pm.
