About The Position
Primrose School of Cherry Hill is seeking an Early Childhood Support Teacher to provide nurturing care and help young children develop a strong foundation. The teacher builds trusted relationships with families and helps create joyful learning experiences using the school’s digital learning platform and Balanced Learning curriculum. The role is part-time, scheduled from 1:00 to 6:00, with a salary range of $17.00 to $18.00. Training is provided, and prior experience is not required.
Requirements
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Support a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for children.
- Assist with age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.
