Support Staff: Early Childhood Learning
About The Position
The Support Staff Member works at the Early Childhood Learning Center to help create a safe, nurturing, welcoming, and engaging environment for young children. The role supports children’s growth, curiosity, confidence, social skills, and development through positive interactions and hands-on learning experiences. Staff work alongside educators, and paid training is provided. The position may be a good fit for people interested in education, childcare, psychology, social work, or youth development. Shifts are available Monday through Friday, either 11:00 AM–6:00 PM or 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
- Help create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for children.
- Support children's learning through play, exploration, and positive encouragement.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
