About The Position

The Support Staff Member works at the Early Childhood Learning Center to help provide a safe, nurturing, welcoming, and engaging environment for young children. The role supports children’s growth, confidence, social skills, and learning through positive interactions, play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Staff work alongside educators and receive paid training. The position is part-time, with weekday shifts available Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The listed pay range is $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

• Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
• Help create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for children.
• Support children's learning through play, exploration, and positive encouragement.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
