About The Position

Galaxy Vets is seeking a Support Staff Manager to lead their team of Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants. This role involves both clinical and people leadership, with approximately 30 hours per week spent on patient care and workflow support on the hospital floor. The remaining time will be dedicated to leading, developing, and growing the support staff team, focusing on building a positive team culture, improving workflows, and ensuring operational excellence while maintaining high standards of patient and client care.

Requirements

  • Veterinary Technician (preferred) or an experienced Veterinary Assistant
  • Strong clinical veterinary experience
  • Leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants

  • Partner with doctors and leadership to improve workflow and patient care
