About The Position

PAML, a Labcorp company, is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join its team in Spokane, Washington. The role supervises the day-to-day operations of the logistics team, including courier performance, routes and schedules, staffing, training, and service quality. The supervisor also manages vendor relationships, department spending, branch vehicles, policies and procedures, and administrative work. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with additional days and hours as needed. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of driver or courier experience. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree, at least three years of medical courier experience, and at least five years of lead or supervisory experience. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 21 years old, and be comfortable handling lab specimens when needed. The annual pay range is $80,168.40 to $84,000. Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability, 401(k), paid time off or flexible time off, tuition reimbursement, and an employee stock purchase plan. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience as a driver or courier.
Ability to motivate and develop team members.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Basic understanding of cost management and overall budgeting.

Ability to communicate effectively with various levels within an organization.

Ability to handle the physical demands of the position.
Comfortable handling lab specimens when needed.

Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the logistics team.
Manage courier performance using established performance metrics.
Implement and review courier routes and schedules to increase efficiencies.
Ensure the department is properly staffed to cover necessary routes.
Establish relationships with outside logistics vendors to obtain coverage when needed.
Generate and review daily and weekly reports and escalate issues to leadership.
Ensure logistics staff are properly trained and address performance issues.
Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development.
Address and resolve internal and external client issues.
Maintain and monitor department spending to ensure proper budget allocation.
Manage and maintain branch vehicles according to Corporate Fleet standards.
Engage in continuous process and service-level improvements.
Administer and manage policies and procedures.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
