About The Position

Under general direction, performs professional-level work involving the inspection, evaluation, and maintenance status of assets owned or leased by Oklahoma Human Services in the assigned geographical area. This includes serving as a liaison for internal and external support services and guiding staff through processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and one year of professional or technical administrative experience in business or public administration, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
  • Technical administrative experience, including highly complex clerical work gained under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager.
  • Knowledge of public administration.
  • Knowledge of the principles of management.
  • Knowledge of personnel and fiscal management.
  • Knowledge of basic statistical and research techniques.
  • Skill in maintaining effective and satisfactory working relationships with others.
  • Skill in interpreting and handling routine decisions in accordance with agency policy.
  • Skill in dealing tactfully with internal and external parties.
  • Skill in handling confidential work with tact and discretion.
  • Knowledge of state leasing standards, state statutes, federal laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines relating to property management.
  • Knowledge of the methods of project management and planning.
  • Knowledge of DHS programs and how they function.
  • Ability to work independently and to coordinate a wide variety of activities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • Ability to translate knowledge of programs and processes into practical resolutions for assigned locations.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and related equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of technical terminology.
  • Basic knowledge of modern office practices related to the use of information systems.
  • Ability to gather, organize, and present data effectively.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must maintain required car insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and completes activities involving the inspection, evaluation, and maintenance status of assets owned or leased by Oklahoma Human Services in the assigned geographical area.
  • Serves as a liaison for internal and external support services.
  • Responsible for agency-wide new employee onboarding equipment deployments.
  • Responsible for standard office supply and special request orders for staff and locations agency-wide.
  • Monitors contracts for services and goods in areas assigned.
  • Acts as the primary building contact for locations in assigned areas.
  • Serves as a liaison for office equipment that utilizes OMES network connections.
