Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of work experience
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs repeatedly
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree
- 1+ year of experience in logistics or airport operations or similar
- Knowledge of airport operations/ramp work preferred
- Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Receiving bags at the warehouse, shelving, scanning and inventorying the bags – content must be entered in WorldTracer.
- Working with the passenger and their claim form to locate the missing bag.
- Setting up found bags for shipment and delivery.
- Receiving boxes of left on board items, researching in Chargerback and setting up payments for delivery.
- Loading the 18 wheeler with bags and boxes to be sent to salvage once a week.
- Manage left on board property (high and low value)
- Receive/Analyze claims documents to process Tracing
- Inventory bags and look for matches
- Load 18 wheeler truck trailer for salvage
- Set up shipments of parcels and bags to customers and stations
- Communicate with passengers by e-mail, phone, text and in person
- Handle high value items on a daily basis
