About The Position

This role involves working across multiple Nurseries, providing an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in various settings to further develop a childcare career. Storal's purpose is to give children healthy foundations in fantastic settings, helping them build confidence and resilience for future success. The successful candidate will join Mandy's team of area support Nursery Practitioners. Mandy has 35 years of experience in childcare, including roles as Nursery Manager and Area Manager. The Nursery Support Team covers nurseries in the North East, including Glebe Farm, Newark, Newark Town, The Marina, Wragby Road, and Rosemary Lane. The nurseries offer a wide variety of environments where an experienced and passionate team provides early years expertise, tailoring their approach to each child's pace, personality, and interests to ensure they feel supported, seen, and celebrated. The nurseries are warm and nurturing environments that support children in being ready for school and equip them with life skills.

Requirements

An Early Years qualification at Level 3
Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
Have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car
Be willing to travel within the Winchester area

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous

Responsibilities

Work closely with Mandy and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most
Plan activities
Observe progress
Manage personal care for children
Apply the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
Seek out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
Bond with children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments
