We have two (2) Support Home Provider positions available in the South Calgary area.

Requirements

• Maintains and utilizes current Emergency or Standard First Aid that includes CPR/AED
• A current police information check with a vulnerable sectors search that is satisfactory to CASS
• Diploma or equivalent experience in Disability Studies

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge in supporting adults with developmental disabilities
• A vehicle and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provides support in all activities of daily living, including but not limited to laundry, housekeeping, making and attending medical appointments, administering medications, planning and preparing healthy meals, budgeting, and recreation and leisure.
• Provides support in the mornings, evenings, and weekends, and potentially during the day if the client does not have a day program, employment, or scheduled activities.
• Provides support to clients in their homes based on education, availability, suitability and level of expertise with specific support requirements, as well as, the safety and suitability of the physical home and area of the city.
