About The Position
Supervise and perform diagnosing, rebuilding, restoration, and repair of aviation support equipment per the maintenance support requirements. Enters documentation of maintenance in NALCOMIS (VIDSMAFs). Coordinate with Senior Maintenance Controller. Supervises all Contractor SE maintenance actions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in CNAFINST 4790.2 (series)
- Demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in Aviation support equipment maintenance processes.
- Demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in SE licensing and certification requirements
- Tire and Wheel certified
- Minimum of three (3) in the last ten (10) years aircraft maintenance experience at an I level of repair (with three (3) years emphasis in aviation support equipment repairs)
- Aviation Quality Assurance Collateral Duty Inspector
- Minimum of (3) (three) years' experience in the field of military aviation supervision in the last ten (10) years
- Proficiency in various computer programs required (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- The Secret Clearance process will include requesting a credit history.
- Must maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
Nice To Haves
- Examples of acceptable experience: Navy Aviation Support Equipment Technician (AS) enlisted (E6 through E-9).
- Graduate from Navy AS A or C schools or other military service equivalent.
- NEC AS-7609 (Support Equipment Maintenance Manager enlisted (E-7 through E-9)).
