The Kaiser Wraparound team is seeking a compassionate mental health professional to deliver behavioral interventions to clients. As a Support Counselor, you will work with youth and families during difficult times by providing guidance, practicing distress tolerance skills, and supporting them in navigating conversations or events that exacerbate their mental health symptoms. You will respond effectively to crisis situations while implementing the client's safety and treatment plan. You will deliver these services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, curating interventions to the client's unique needs and completing documentation capturing the impact of your services and interventions. The Kaiser Wraparound Program is a partnership between Kaiser Permanente and Seneca Family of Agencies, providing behaviorally focused mental health services to youth 6 - 21 years of age and their families. The program aims to provide children and their families with the support and services they need for children to maintain the lowest level of care possible and avoid out of home placements (group homes, juvenile hall, and hospitalization). Services for families will take place in-person surrounding the Concord and Mount Diablo communities while other work can be completed remotely. Seneca Family of Agencies has been nominated among the Bay Area’s Top Workplaces for several consecutive years. We’re committed to providing traditionally marginalized communities with a network of excellent mental health, community-based, and educational services. We are committed to building a diverse staff. Our programs deeply engage in conversations and training on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to bring equity and justice to the youth and families we serve.
