Witco Inc is seeking a Support Coordinator to supervise a Team of Direct Support staff in our employment services operations for Ada County. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license/ vehicle insurance and a clean driving record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Word applications
  • Must complete an obtain clearance for Criminal History, with fingerprinting, employment references, and pre-hire drug screen required.

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities in supported employment programs preferred
  • Prior supervisory and employee relations experience including training, scheduling, and mentoring preferred.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, motivate team members
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs
  • Demonstratable skills with problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, mentor and lead a team of coaches supporting individuals at their place of employment.
  • Draft schedules for team to ensure coverage for client needs.
  • Coordinate schedules to ensure coverage for staff vacations, call-ins and other.
  • Provide direct service as appropriate.
  • Verify and submit timecards to payroll ensuring accuracy.
  • Assist with the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of Direct Support Professionals.
  • Plan and coordinate strategies for implementing the person-centered plans of each client served.
  • Identify, develop and acquire resources necessary to achieve service outcomes.
  • Recommend changes to person centered services and plan, upon review of plan, review of data, and knowledge of a change in circumstances for person served.
  • Draft comprehensive reports reflecting outcome of services provided.
  • Ensure data collected is accurate and supports goals identified in person-centered plan.
  • Provide for the safety of all Staff and persons served.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings, training sessions, workshops and conferences as required.
