About The Position

Pyrotek is a global leader in high-temperature resistant materials, with products impacting numerous industries worldwide. Our global team has decades of experience providing new technologies, advanced engineering systems, and innovative materials to clients in the aluminum, steel, and other industries. We are looking to hire a Junior Sales Support and Project Management professional. This individual will have the flexibility to work remotely and will be required to travel within the National Capital Region / Mauricie / Centre du Québec / Chaudière Appalaches regions.

Requirements

  • Ability to read technical drawings.

  • Strong sense of ethics.
  • Bilingual: French and English (oral and written).
  • Knowledge of the Office suite.
  • Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks or other ERP systems.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a project manager or in similar functions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct joint customer visits with Technical Sales Representatives as needed to build customer confidence in Pyrotek's achievements.
  • Manage assigned projects from qualification to commissioning, including submission qualification, project development, cost and parameter estimation, follow-ups, and on-site commissioning at customer facilities.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to develop and design/modify products that meet customer needs.
  • Regularly visit customers as required by Representatives and for ongoing projects.
  • Contribute to the development of products specifically tailored to customer needs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries about our products and services for unassigned accounts.
  • Participate in sales meetings and other events.
  • Contribute to our research and development center on occasion.
  • Provide technical support to our plant as needed during the manufacturing process.
  • Act as the primary contact for smaller clients and handle pricing inquiries.
  • Assist project managers during the execution of engineering projects.
  • Take charge of cost-saving or production improvement projects.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending external or internal training.
  • Keep customer files up-to-date using company tools (CRM, SharePoint, etc.).
