Support Attendant
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Support Attendant to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in Williamsville, NY. Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community unlike any you’ve ever seen. We have one goal and one commitment: We provide older adults with the best possible living experience. Our CARF-accredited skilled nursing facility proudly features 50 private rooms and a focus on person-centered care. We are hiring for a Regular Part Time position. The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday, 3pm - 9pm.
Requirements
- Must have verbal and written English skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make rounds and conduct routine visits to residents.
- Ensure resident call bells are answered in a timely manner and assist with fulfilling non-direct nursing care requests.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness.
- Provide 1:1 companion service as directed.
- Transport residents via wheelchair as requested.
