About The Position

ADM's Global Business Services (GBS) team provides efficient, compliant, and reliable services for ADM's business and functions on a company-wide basis. Commodities Management Services (CMS) is a process tower within GBS, responsible for transactional activities supporting CMS throughout the Americas region. This role is based in the Decatur-City Center office and is part of the Agris Support team. This team assists location personnel in our network of elevators with established policies and procedures to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and timely in our accounting system. Support is provided via telephone, email, and Microsoft Teams. The role also involves defining systematic changes for new initiatives and performing user acceptance testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Agriculture, or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of ADM experience or equivalent
  • Previous experience with grain settlement work
  • Previous transactional system support experience
  • Prior system support experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Resolve Support emails/Service Now tickets in a timely manner
  • Assist in driving standardization, automation, and continuous improvement within CMS processes
  • Document, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures related to CMS activities
  • Develop relationships and drive stakeholder satisfaction at the location level
  • Drive Operational Excellence in CMS through root cause analysis and lean management techniques
  • Develop and maintain a Continuous Improvement mindset related to CMS
  • Understand and assist with risk management issues (position) across CMS transactional activities
  • Assist team and owning change management in adhering to established policies and procedures
  • Provide over-the-phone training using Microsoft Teams on daily transaction processing, report retrieval, and other general assistance
  • Research and submit program change requests to the respective IT Group
  • Test and review the results of programming changes and enhancements to ensure the desired results are achieved
