Chevron is seeking Supply and Trading TRIP Analyst Full-Time roles at various operating locations across the U.S., including Houston, Texas. As part of Chevron Downstream, Midstream & Chemicals, Supply and Trading (S&T) is Chevron’s commercial link to the market. S&T applies its knowledge of commodity markets, the crude-to-customer value chain, and transportation logistics in the crude, gas, and refined products markets to maximize the value of enterprise assets and enable commercial success. S&T buys, sells, and supplies crude oil, refined products, natural gas, and gas liquids to support Chevron's crude and gas production operations and its refining and marketing network. S&T integrates enterprise-wide supply and trading capabilities to capture commercial opportunities across the entire value chain through commercial functional excellence. This role is part of the Texas A&M TRIP Program, where Chevron supports the program by hiring graduating students through the university’s permanent hiring process. Candidates who have interned with Chevron or whose TRIP internships have provided them with sufficient experience and exposure to commodities and business across supply and trading organizations may be considered for non-rotational positions directly into S&T organizations. These roles will provide hired students with an in-depth understanding of commodities, market drivers, transportation, and infrastructure; the ability to create direct impact to a supply and trading portfolio or business segment; drive improvements to existing processes; build a strong network across the business; and demonstrate negotiation skills, understanding of deal structure, regulatory and trading compliance requirements, contractual terms, and risk exposure skills.
