SCA Supply Technician (Bethesda, MD)
About The Position
Rivet Operations Company has openings for multiple Supply Technicians supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) with enterprise logistics support. The role involves stock control, inventory management, equipment and material accountability, receiving and shipping, and routine reporting. Personnel must be U.S. citizens and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least seven years of relevant property accountability management experience, along with forklift and other material handling equipment certifications. Work may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, repeated walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds unassisted.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 7 years of experience in Property Accountability Management, including experience with DoD property book systems, tactical property books, or equivalent military or federal property management systems.
- Forklift and other Material Handling Equipment certifications.
- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds unassisted and perform the physical activities described for the position.
Responsibilities
- Apply stock control practices, including bin and location management, reorder levels, due-ins and due-outs, backorder tracking, and reconciliation.
- Conduct and document cyclic and/or wall-to-wall inventories; research and correct variances with supporting documentation.
- Maintain audit-ready accountability for equipment and material, including handling sensitive or controlled items, documenting custody transfers, applying chain-of-custody principles, and understanding property book and accountability concepts.
- Perform receiving inspections; identify overages, shortages, and damage; and prepare discrepancy documentation.
- Prepare outbound shipments with correct packing, labeling, and shipping documentation; coordinate with transportation and shipping functions; and comply with packaging and packing standards.
- Generate routine reports on inventory accuracy, due-outs, turn-ins, and receiving status, and brief results to government leads.
