Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a supply or warehouse environment; medical supply experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of USAF supply systems, including Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), policies, procedures, and logistics guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate hand trucks and material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and AFOSH ground safety standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties involving medical supplies and equipment.
  • Ability to provide a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to the start of performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working in the logistics section of a Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
  • Prior military logistics experience (AFSC 4A1) with exposure to logistics, supply, or medical units.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, store, issue, deliver, and dispose of medical supplies and equipment in accordance with established logistics procedures.
  • Perform inventory management, storage organization, cataloging, property accountability, and material verification.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damaged materials, and inventory issues while maintaining accurate warehouse records.
  • Prepare, package, palletize, and route materials for storage, shipment, or disposition using approved handling methods.
  • Process incoming supplies using proper handling procedures for controlled medical items, hazardous materials, gases, precious metals, and temperature-sensitive products.
  • Transport medical supplies and equipment between medical logistics, base support activities, and customer locations.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards, including equipment rooms and recycling activities.
  • Support daily medical logistics operations to ensure timely supply availability and exceptional customer service.
