About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Supply Technician in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Supply Technician will serve as a key support role, overseeing and managing various aspects of supply chain operations to meet mission needs. This position requires expertise in inventory management, procurement, integrated logistics support, and supply chain coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under dynamic and high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field is highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Costpoint or similar financial software tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, across all organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply established policies, procedures, and guidelines for problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Capable of managing complex programs and tasks in diverse, high-pressure environments.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality supply operations related to service delivery.
  • Knowledge and experience in acquisition planning, budgeting, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functions, including acquisition, supply chain coordination, integrated support, and product distribution, to meet program objectives.
  • Conduct inventory, property management, cataloging, and utilization to support organizational and program requirements.
  • Provide acquisition planning, system design, integration, and product distribution for government or commercial programs.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) to procure goods and services aligned with mission priorities.
  • Analyze program needs, plan inventory purchases, and support monthly financial reporting for procurement activities.
  • Maintain accurate tracking for all supply chain operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs related to supply chain operations.
  • Support project management, including project planning, cost analysis, financial reporting, and schedule coordination related to logistic and supply services.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills to define and resolve problems while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate billing and reporting for services rendered.
  • Provide outstanding communication with leadership, vendors, and team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in the support of supply operations.
