About The Position
This Supply Technician performs aviation technical supply work in support of aviation maintenance operations.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Supply Tech experience in a military environment with aviation parts highly preferred.
- Army MOS 92A training or similar service school equivalent desirable.
- Must be familiar with ACN and GCSS-Army supply operations.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds when handling parts.
- Must be able to pass a basic physical to operate vehicles and equipment.
- Able to complete training and obtain an operator license to operate vehicles and forklifts in support of supply operations.
Responsibilities
- Performs technical supply work (e.g. inventory management, storage management, corrosion control, cataloging, issue, and turn-in) related to aviation supply activities.
- Processes part requests, issues parts, and conducts turn-ins using government supply information systems and following service guidance.
- Operates forklift or motor vehicle to deliver/transport larger parts on site and on main post.
- Loads/unloads truck when making part deliveries.
- Provides customer service/support to assigned teams.
