About The Position

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is seeking a full-time Supply Tech to support Surgical Services. The role provides safe, customer service-oriented transport services, including picking up and delivering sterile supplies between the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) and the Operating Room (OR). It also involves cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, hallways, offices, and public areas, and replenishing supplies in assigned areas. The Supply Tech maintains environmental and infection-control standards in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and tracks cleaning inventory and equipment to ensure necessary tools are available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to adapt to multiple changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, customer service-oriented transport services for Surgical Services.
• Pick up and deliver sterile supplies between the Sterile Processing Department and Operating Room.
• Clean and disinfect assigned patient rooms, hallways, offices, and public areas.
• Replenish supplies in assigned hospital areas.
• Maintain environmental and infection-control standards in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Account for cleaning inventory and equipment and ensure necessary tools are available.
