The Supply System Analyst analyzes transactions/data to determine problem areas; determines the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions; provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations; coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems; and researches potential functional problem areas. This position requires knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships in order to conduct studies, reviews, and investigations. A thorough knowledge of policies and procedures is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions. Performs as the Warehouse Management System (WMS) POC to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to WMS which can include identifying workload trends and proactively identifying potential issues; performs WMS transaction code inquiries and research and serves as the WMS system analyst as required. Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems. Ensures that accurate and timely reports are provided. Supports inventory reconciliation and operational reporting requirements.
