As a Supply Room Assistant- 2nd shift ( 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday - Friday) , you will support daily operations by receiving, organizing, storing, and issuing materials, supplies, equipment, and tools while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized supply room.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, plus one to three months of related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to complete basic written correspondence and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, and ratios.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and AS/400.
Ability to identify and resolve routine problems using established procedures.
Must able to work 2nd shift ( 2:30pm-11:00pm , Monday - Friday)
Frequently stand, walk, use hands, reach, and handle materials.
Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds .
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel locally up to 25% of the time.
Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, elevated areas, fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
Moderate noise levels are typical of the work environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for inspecting incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
Distributes supplies and tools among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
Maintains inventory for machine parts, print labels, and supplies.
Assists with monthly and yearly inspections of all fire extinguishers.
Responsible for ensuring that the supply room is clean and organized.
Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.
