This position provides quality assurance inspections for purchased products, encompassing dimensional checks and paperwork review. Key responsibilities include verifying quantities, revision levels, and documentation against purchase order requirements, ensuring compliance with ESD packaging protocols for sensitive products, and inspecting supplied items according to engineering drawings. The role also involves managing shelf-life requirements for chemicals, paints, and adhesives, documenting non-conforming products for the Material Review Board (MRB), and overseeing material flow within the Receiving Inspection area, prioritizing items as needed. Additionally, the inspector will evaluate products for potential counterfeiting using the Tyonek suspected Unapproved Parts Avoidance Plan, create AS9102 reports when required, and input receiving inspection data into the Costpoint ERP system to reflect current material status.
