About The Position

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking a Supply Planning Specialist I for its Marietta, Georgia facility. The role supports Motorsports supply planning through accurate system maintenance, pricing administration, inventory and production reporting, and coordination of assigned programs. The specialist collaborates with Supply Planning, Sales Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain reliable data, support planning decisions, resolve routine issues, and ensure operational accuracy across key business processes. The position requires judgment, initiative, and attention to detail within established policies, procedures, and planning guidelines. Working under general supervision, the specialist maintains system data, coordinates assigned processes, analyzes routine inventory and production information, and resolves day-to-day discrepancies. Material pricing, inventory, system, control, or policy issues are escalated to the Supply Planning Manager as appropriate.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, analytics, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in supply planning, sales operations, data administration, inventory support, or a related business environment.
SAP experience.

Responsibilities

Communicate and maintain model setups for each Motorsports product line, coordinating with YMC and internal YMUS departments on naming, descriptions, approvals, accurate SAP setup, issue resolution, and audit-ready records.
Administer Motorsports dealer pricing and price-sheet activities, including gathering pricing information, preparing and maintaining dealer price sheets for publication through YDS, establishing and maintaining SAP pricing records, validating accuracy, and resolving discrepancies.
Administer the Motorsports Loan Pool Reserve process by collecting departmental requests, comparing requested units with available production, preparing information for Product Line Manager review, and supporting inventory cleanup.
Maintain accurate production and inventory information in SAP and prepare analysis for Supply Planning evaluations of production requirements, inventory levels, and product availability.
Conduct recurring warehouse and inventory analysis to identify product-location issues, monitor project holds, and support timely dealer-order fulfillment.
Administer DM Demo Orders by validating program requirements, entering orders accurately, and maintaining tracking reports for Sales leadership.
Process assigned monthly chargebacks with Accounting and Vehicle Support, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
Maintain complete, accurate, audit-ready records; provide documentation for JSOX, EY, and other audits; and create, review, and update departmental standard operating procedures.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for Supply Planning, Sales Operations, and cross-functional business needs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Escalate material pricing, inventory, system, control, or policy issues to the Supply Planning Manager as appropriate.
