Supply Chain Planning Analyst I
About The Position
Inside the Role Vendor Scheduler will be responsible for on time delivery of purchased components. In addition, they will support our Consolidation Center, parts distribution, and internal Machining departments. The candidate will ensure delivery of components using EDI and/or Manual Scheduling, while meeting our targets for inventory value and premium freight. They will use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. They have responsibility for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support planning supporting operations at all locations. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or similar field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Basic understanding of demand forecasting, supply planning, production planning, inventory management, and material requirements planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams such as purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and quality.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application.
- Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check.
- Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Internship or co-op experience in automotive or manufacturing preferred.
- Exposure to ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle preferred.
- Familiarity with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

- Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
