Position SummaryStrategic and results-driven Director to lead our end-to-end planning functions across Supply Planning, Site Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Deployment. This leadership role is critical to ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory, and enabling efficient production and distribution across our manufacturing network. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, people management skills, cross-functional influence, and analytical capabilities to drive planning excellence and deliver business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (APICS/CSCP certification preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in supply chain planning, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • 5+ years of experience in food & beverage or CPG manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, JDA).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex planning scenarios.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with S&OP/IBP processes.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable to deliver Service, Cost and Cashflow metrics in alignment with business priorities for US & Canada markets and other markets supplied by US & Canada Plants aligned with business priorities
  • Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive, and growth-oriented planning organization. Drive talent development, succession planning, and career progression through coaching and feedback.
  • Lead Supply Review process as part of S&OP agenda. Provide executive-level updates on performance, risks, and strategic decisions required to meet business goals.
  • Oversee S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) and ensure proactive communication of supply risks, mitigation strategies, and stakeholder alignment
  • Oversee the creation and execution of mid- to long-term supply and material plans to support production schedules to deliver strong customer service levels. Proactively manage capacity outlook through robust RCCP assessment. Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics to resolve the constraints.
  • Collaborate with Internal & External Manufacturing Plants to ensure production schedules maximize customer service levels and Plant OEEs.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to ensure material availability and address any material constraints impacting production and service.
  • Manage deployment strategies to ensure optimal product flow across distribution centers, and customer locations within Mexico and worldwide. Optimize inventory levels across the network to balance service, cost, and working capital.
  • Lead SLOB (slow-moving and obsolete) reviews and drive mitigation actions.
  • Support new product introductions, promotions, and seasonal events with robust planning and execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and systems to elevate agility and responsiveness
  • Leverage data and analytics to improve service levels and working capital.
