About The Position

KEYENCE is hiring a Supply Planning Analyst at its U.S. headquarters in Itasca, Illinois. The analyst helps determine what products to stock and in what quantities by forecasting demand, managing purchase orders with the parent company in Japan and local suppliers, and identifying weaknesses in inventory rules before they lead to stockouts or excess inventory. The position begins with daily ordering and inventory reviews and can grow into ownership of forecasting and inventory strategy for assigned product lines. No prior purchasing experience is required; training is provided. The role works across Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, customers, the warehouse team, and international colleagues. It includes reviewing customer orders and releasing them for fulfillment, supporting product availability inquiries, maintaining standard operating procedures, and recommending process improvements. The listed total compensation is $83,826, comprising a $64,150 base salary and a performance-based annual bonus target of $19,676, paid quarterly. KEYENCE also describes a promote-from-within culture with opportunities for base and bonus increases.
