About The Position

The Supply Planner is responsible for developing and executing the supply plan for SEB Professional North America. The goal is to ensure optimal inventory levels and on-time supply while minimizing slow-moving and obsolete stock (SLOBS), cost, and complexity. This role is crucial for meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, including participation in cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a planning role.
  • Strong sense of urgency and customer centricity.
  • Strategic long-term vision combined with the ability to take calculated risks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Team player with a LEAN mindset, seeing opportunities rather than problems.
  • Advanced level proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential gaps in the business plan and proactively define and implement countermeasures to achieve budget targets for net sales, inventories, and customer service levels.
  • Ensure stock availability for assigned Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) and products.
  • Manage the full cycle of purchase orders, including tracking and follow-up.
  • Review and manage purchase requisitions.
  • Perform master data management and improvements.
  • Provide support for or take ownership of management reporting.
  • Manage escalations of stock availability issues with suppliers and factories.
  • Identify opportunities and actions to meet KPIs and department objectives, including proposing continuous improvements.
  • Ensure the right level of stock availability by managing safety stock, lead times, and customer/supplier collaboration.
  • Manage SLOB (slow-moving and obsolete stock) by developing action plans and collaborating with other departments.
  • Understand and manage the product life cycle.
