  • Two or more years of relevant operational experience at market / business level is useful, in at least one of the following areas (Manufacturing Function/Planning Function): MPS (Master Production Scheduling), DRP (Distribution Requirement Planning), MRP (Material Requirement Planning)
  • Basic understanding of the Impact of Master Production & Detailed Production decisions on execution and other Supply Chain KPIs.
  • Detailed knowledge of Customer Service / Distribution Requirement Planning (domestic/international) / Factory Operations / Co-packing / Co-manufacturing / Inventory management (Finished Goods)/ Materials Management (Raw & Packaging) / Supply Chain KPIs.
  • Sales & Operational Planning Experience including scenario planning, supply risk assessment, and alignment with demand and manufacturing.
  • Must be able to win trust and respect of others.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Supply plan of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each product to meet objectives, whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that also considers, Ensure the alignment of the Supply Plan across partners through the daily, weekly, and monthly business review and Collaborative Planning processes.
  • Identify and manage exceptions and monitor performance to continually improve the quality and reliability of the supply Plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances, and provide a consistently short-term plan, capacity plan, and long term production plans with feasible and realistic sequenced product in accordance with the availability of resources (production lines/ labor) and materials.
  • Create a feasible Supply plan within the plan period that takes into consideration available capacity, available labor, available materials, that respects the product family sequencing as determined, by the demand long-term planner and best optimizes the factory's ability to produce the SKUs within the families.
  • Conducting the planning meeting with the relevant functions, meeting minutes via email.
  • Establish a 12-week production plan for the factories within your scope of responsibility with minimum changeovers and zero downtime.
  • Ensuring timely system is up to date to reflect the change and highlight any Increase/Decrease in demand and the impact.
  • Identification of the practical concerning of the plan, production shutdowns, CIP, preventive maintenance and activate within the detailed plan period.
  • Capacity to learn the planning process of other facilities within the business including Bakersfield, Tulare, Fort Wayne, and Laurel.
  • Identification of possible opportunities for the factory within the detailed plan period.
  • Identification of the potential issues for the factory within the detailed plan period and evaluate the risks and offer solutions.
  • Give advance information in Daily / Weekly to ensure alignment with team and cross function on requirements within the detailed plan period.
  • Manage the relationship and the effective flow of information between the Planning function and internal business partners such as Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Quality, NPD and Finance.
  • Effective contribution and participation in the Business Planning process according to Best Practice.
  • Relevant information analyzed and communicated to Senior Management by sharing the KPIs; performance gaps highlighted; detailed information on the impact of proposed actions and trade-offs available and proposed actions are realistic and achievable.
  • Ensure proper cascading of KPI’s to drive ownership and alignment across the organization.
  • Supply Planning Principles, Process and Best Practice: Capacity Planning; Production Planning and Scheduling; Manufacturing Performance and Management and planning of inventory
  • Impact of, and relationship between: Product portfolio (type of demand, seasonality, lifecycle status, shelf life); Master Production & Detailed Production.
  • Can effectively develop and support maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Managed NPDs plan across all depts. to deliver the project on time.
  • Ensure stock cover for all range without affecting the business working capital.
  • Collaborative engagement with procurement for raw & pack material runouts from a Finished Good planning perspective for flow through, transitions and at-risk expiry.
  • Represent the Factory on Club and Marketing calls taking active engagement to algin on realistic expectations, first production runs, and weekly volume expectations.
  • Share at Risk Finished Goods metrics with high level leadership and speak to observations and risks as it relates to supply demand.
  • Expected to deliver an accurate rolling 12 week forecast to the short term planner that aligns with their needs to develop a good 5-week detailed plan.
  • Coverage is expected to be secured between the long term and short term planner to support and cover when planned or unplanned events arise.
  • Adhering to FRONERI procedures and standards.
  • Always keep 5S in your workplace.
  • Update the planning parameters on the system for materials when it is needed.
