About The Position

The Supply Planner is responsible for developing and executing the supply plan for SEB Professional North America. The goal is to ensure optimal inventory levels and on-time supply while minimizing slow-moving and obsolete stock (SLOBs), cost, and complexity. This role is crucial for meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, including participation in cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in demand planning (typically 7–10 years), including time in a leadership or managerial capacity, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing, spare parts/equipment environment with international presence in a multisite network.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SAP and/or Oracle experience or similar ERP systems is a must.
  • Excel and PowerPoint – advanced.

Responsibilities

  • Identify possible gaps in the business plan to proactively define and implement countermeasures ensuring budget targets achievement in terms of net sales, inventories and customer service level.
  • Ensure stock availability for assigned SKUs and products.
  • Full cycle purchase order management, including tracking and following up.
  • Purchase requisitions review and management.
  • Master data management and improvements.
  • Management reporting support and/or ownership.
  • Manage escalations of stock availability with suppliers/factories.
  • Look for opportunities and actions to meet KPIs and department objectives including proposals for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the right level of stock availability by managing the safety stock, lead-times, customer/supplier collaboration etc.
  • Manage SLOB (obsolete & slow movers) by developing action plan and collaboration with other departments.
  • Understand and manage product life cycle.
