Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a planning role within a supply chain function is required.
  • Experience with SAP ECC/APO is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Possesses strong planning and analytical skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Possesses strong business acumen, operational insight, and a collaborative mindset that enables effective partnership with individuals across different functions and organizational levels.

  • A minimum degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, prepares, and is accountable for the short- and medium-term production schedule.
  • Develops a production plan to ensure designated stock levels are maintained.
  • Provides leadership for OTIF discussions and improvement initiatives, including identifying reasons for OTIF failures and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Utilizes SAP ECC/APO tools to identify requirements for order fulfillment, safety stock requirements, and new product introductions. Sequences manufacturing orders to ensure minimal downtime while considering scheduling aspects related to Kosher, allergens, and cleanouts.
  • Leads weekly scheduling reviews with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
  • Manages all SAP dates and master data maintenance to ensure planning parameters remain up to date.
  • Ensures aged, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory action items are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Plays a key role in addressing emergent issues that may impact the production schedule and customer commitments. Works closely with cross-functional teams to perform root cause and gap analyses and identify solutions.
  • Monitors and adjusts the production schedule in response to unforeseen conditions or escalations to meet committed delivery dates.
  • Communicates with Customer Care regarding order updates related to planned or unplanned changes in the production schedule.
