You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies focused on Spare Parts & Operations Support, while driving the 7S of MCBC Procurement: Supplier Relationship Management, Stakeholder Management, Supply Risk Management, Sustainability & Innovation, Systems & Governance, Sourcing Strategy, and Supplier Diversity. Successful candidates enjoy working with both people and data and can demonstrate a track record of delivering value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and project execution. Successful candidates will enjoy working with both people and data and will be able to showcase both of these skills with examples of successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 4 or more years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading supplier negotiations and delivering measurable financial results.
  • Strong capabilities in spend analysis, market research, cost modeling, and contract negotiation.
  • Experience developing category strategies and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience working within multinational organizations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP, Ariba, and ISM or CIPS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier negotiations and sourcing implementation activities.
  • Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
  • Own the end-to-end strategic management of assigned ISS categories, including category strategy development, supplier relationship management, sourcing execution, contract lifecycle management, supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.
  • Present category strategies and sourcing recommendations to Procurement Leadership and key stakeholders for alignment and approval.
  • Deliver category objectives and sourcing initiatives across North America.
  • Maintain annual savings, cost avoidance, and value creation targets.
  • Ensure contract compliance and oversee supplier performance through scorecards, KPIs, formal business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships through effective SRM practices.
  • Identify supplier consolidation, process improvement, innovation, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier market conditions, industry trends, and risk factors.
  • Develop and maintain supply continuity plans.
  • Drive supplier-led innovation opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases and TCO analyses.
  • Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Brewery Procurement Leads.
  • Partner with the e-Procurement team.
  • Work closely with Legal to negotiate and manage contracts.
  • Provide direction and project prioritization for Procurement Analysts.
